Eda sighs as she tucks the two girls, surprisingly looking almost like twins even if they were not related to each other in the slightest bit, into her nest. The one she had for eight years now, her little snowstorm, Khione yawns in her sleep as she nuzzles closer to slightly younger girl, her orange brown hair bright in the dim light contrasting greatly with her darker complexion. Eda can't help but coo as she threads her fingers through the curls so like her sister's but tamer in a way, noting a few random strands that were well hidden in the locks of carrot orange and orange brown of mint green, the hidden gift from their other parent. Eda then glances at the other child, the one they found in a pond that day.

Her face was rounder then Khione's, who was inheriting Eda's more angler facial structures with only traces of Raine's softer facial structures. The round ears of the little girl with the same tone if skin as her daughter was a dead give away of her human origin. But Eda couldn't leave a scared child in the woods, especially with a storm on the way. Luz had bruises that made Eda feel she shouldn't send the young girl, only months younger then her own child through the portal back to her realm. The fact she also said her Mami and Papi were gone spoke volumes to the wild witch as well. 'Owlets?' A voice whispers in question. Eda snorts as she shakes her head. If someone had told her having a kid would help her make a truce with her curse she would have had a laughed then beaten the person up. But if there was one thing her unwanted roommate considered important was the well being of Khione. Maybe Luz will stay maybe not...it depends on what she finds out in the morning. Eda glances out of the window of her room as she sits there thinking.

Her mind wondering to how scared she had been weeks after her breakup with Raine (her fault...if she had just trusted them or just been open with them her little girl would have her Opa in their live, or if she was just able to tell Raine 'Hey Raine I know we broke up but I just found out I am pregnant' but Eda didn't do that she was too prideful or maybe she just wanted to let Raine have the clean break up they wanted it has been so long she didn't know which reason she chose anymore) to find herself with a jellybean of a freeloader in her stomach. At first she was scared out of her wits but also resentful over the innocent life growing in her. Why was this reminder of the only person she could see herself with here to rub salt in the wounds of her heart? Eda also remembered how often she cursed the little one when dealing with her morning sickness and struggling to survive on her own since it was getting to dangerous to stay living in town with the fact she wasn't joining a coven. She remembered the first time since she found out she was pregnant the curse flared up, the fear of losing the delicate little life that was her's for the first time since finding out. The wonder as she felt the baby, her baby grow and move inside her. The absolute love she felt as she held the most perfect little witchlet in her arms the first time and looked into unfocused golden green eyes. She also thought of how she named her little snowstorm months after she was born because nothing felt right. Not until that human book of Greek myths feel into the pile of stuff Owlbert got for her. Khione the Greek goddess of Snow was purfect for a baby born during a freak snowstorm, a human type on the Boiling Isles, out of season for snow at the time to boot. Her snowstorm had been the one to rush off first at the cries for help from what sounded like a lost child.

Eda yawns as the sun raises and the alarm for the morning routine goes off. First the deluted elixir for Khione, while not completely needing it since what she inherited from Eda's curse wasn't really a curse for her it did keep her mind sentient during the day. Unlike Eda who had a complete animal, Khione was more herself just animal self when off the elixir and shifted. Then it was breakfast prep, Eda learned a long time ago to have morning bathtime after the first meal of the day since little kids could be messy, might as well have it so there isn't more then three baths a day for them. Then well it would be bathtime. After that getting the situation about Luz figured out. Eda then shivers as she feels that what Luz tells her might end with her having to ankle biters instead of just one.

Eda blinks at the two girls coloring as she gets back from her potion deliveries later that day. She still didn't know how to help the orphan human deal with the trauma of dealing with the wrong type of guardians before she discovered the pond that brought her here. First things first was probably getting her some clothes that weren't Khione's, since the two were the same size. Khione was then asking a mile a minute about Eda's day along with Luz. Hooty was surprisingly a great babysitter, though the fact Khione didn't find him creepy, unnerving or scary...even when he was skinless, was a tastement on Khione's future status of a chaos bringing or just a weird quirk of hers remained to be seen. Brown eyes and golden green looked up at the older witch orange hair poofed up from a flight with a graying streak in it as Eda smirks at the two, she had just decided that since the human realm wasn't helping Luz since her mother's passing then she would with her little snowstorm. "Well it went good, but we are all going to have to do some shopping since Khione's room isn't ready yet for the both of you." Eda says with a twinkle in her golden eyes. The excited squeal from Khione over Luz staying was music to Eda's heart, but what warmed it was the gleam of hope in the brown orbs of Luz's own eyes. "I can stay. I don't have to go back to the mean couple?" She asks as she tugs on Eda's skirt. "Yep sunshine you get to stay." Eda says as she strokes the human girl's head as Khione starts jumping in excitement. "Thank you!" Luz yells as she suddenly throws her arms around Eda's legs in a hug. Eda could feel the owlbeast purr at the sight of Khione's excitement and Luz's happiness, seemed that there now was two people that the owlbeast and her could agree on caring for and protecting.
