It has been my previous experience that companies put items on sale, because they have inventory to liquidate... Apparently, PT&G likes to put items "on sale" that they haven't made yet. 2 months and counting waiting for Howa bottom metal... PT&G can choke on a bag of dicks...that is all.

19 jul 2018 · its definitely hit or miss, but they make A LOT of very cool stuff noone else does and prices it VERY reasonably.
Anyone been having trouble with PTG quality lately? I have had a couple of very respectable Smith's (you would know them) tell me there has been problems with the custom bolts and that bottom metal is so out of tolerance that their inletting programs don't work requiring expensive hand fitting...
