Pardon me, I’m new to the forums so excuse any format mistakes.
This is the info the dealer provided me.
2024 Ford Maverick Lariat
MSRP: $35,730
48 mo lease
19,500 miles/year 51% res
Acquisition fee $645
Doc Fee $599
AZ taxes 7.6%
$2500 down
$578/month
Not looking to purchase, I’m self employed and will be partially using the vehicle for business purposes.
I don’t know the rate they worked for that number but I’ve got Fico 8 auto tier 1 credit.
Any room to work here or is this a good deal? Already got them to drop their “plus package” which is a bunch of nothing for $1995.

I confirm the 51% residual, but we only show "standard" for the APR - we don't know the exact rate, but figure it to be pretty high (9%?).
With your prices, and the 9% APR, I get $660/mo with tax.
Ask them what APR they are using for their quote.
Getting them to drop the $2K in junk fees is a nice start ... can't hurt to push for more.

Thanks for the input, Michaell. Much appreciated.
I’ll ask about the rate they used. I went through pre-approval with Ford Credit and gave them the application number so they should be using the number from there, even though Ford Credit doesn’t actually tell you the rate. It wouldn’t surprise me if they used a low number to try and get me reeled in to F&I to then put the hammer down and hope I sign anyway.

The APR is going to be ridiculous on a Maverick, in any case. If you weren't leasing it for business and expensing the payment, there would be absolutely no way leasing this vehicle would make sense.
