Here’s the deal:

Are you paying the fees and taxes up front, or adding them into the selling price?
With your MSRP and selling price, assuming all fees/taxes are paid up front, I get $400/mo. If I add all of that into the sales price, I get $442/mo.
Deal looks pretty decent - the tax credit helps so much.

I’m making the first payment as a drive-off.
Net Cap Cost: $33,697.59I tried to bring the selling price from the fair price to the good price area of the graph, but the manager told me that most Mazda deals are return customers and that the Edmunds graph reflects much heavier loyalty incentives. The manager even freely offer to show me the invoice on the vehicle to prove that he only profits 2.7%.
I caught many other dealers on their BS over the weekend thanks to your assistance.

FWIW, the "invoice" price the dealer was willing to show you may not be the actual price the dealer paid the factory for the car.
Congrats, and thanks for the report.
