This guide will show you how to claim and use all of your Pre-purchase Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred items. Included is a visual catalog of the each item to show you what they look like in the game.
How to tell which Vessel of Hatred version you have
If you’ve forgotten which Edition of the Vessel of Hatred Expansion you’ve Purchased, you can check in two ways; via Battle.net or In-Game.
Check In-Game
To check your edition in-game, head to the Shop. Under the Add Ons tab, the Expansion will be shown at the top of the selections. However, if you own the Ultimate Edition it will not be present here.
This can Alternatively be done via the cycling panel found on the Character Select Screen, shown in the upper right.
Check on Battle.net
From the battle.net client or browser page, head to the Diablo 4 section and locate the section for Pre-purchasing the Vessel of Hatred expansion. Once here, select any of the Editions you wish to check.
Below the List, you’ll have a Purchase button if it’s unowned. If it says In Library like the image below, you own that Edition or a higher one.
If you’re looking for a recommendation on which Edition to choose, check out our Vessel of Hatred Editions Guide. It covers the contents of each tier and our thoughts on the value of them.
How to claim your Items
With almost all of the Vessel of Hatred extra stuff being Pre-purchase bonuses, they’ll be available immediately after purchasing any of the Vessel of Hatred Editions that are available.
All of the Cosmetic items are immediately available by visiting any Wardrobe found all over Sanctuary.
The Wardrobe Tab will allow you to equip your Armor Sets and Wings. The Effects Tab will allow you to equip the Portal Effect.
The Pets Tab will allow you to equip your Pets. This will also require you to Complete the “Faithful Companion” Quest in Kyovashad.
For more information on this quest and Pets in general, we have a Guide available for the Diablo 4 Pet System.
To Equip your Mount and Mount Armor, Head to the Stable Master located in major towns.
In their UI, over on the right side are the tabs you can use to select both the Mount and Mount Armor.
The War-Cat (and armor) included with Deluxe and Ultimate tiers will be in a category of their own below all of your Horses or Horse Armor, as shown above.
