Hey everyone! Just jumping in here to note that I'll be locking this thread. The reason being that the original issue was posted back in 2022 which could have a different root issue than any issue nowadays.

Hey @eliandjax! We see you're having some trouble with your device code, and we know it can be a bit tricky if you don't know what exactly to do. We're here to help!

The device code you see in your headset is there to help with pairing your headset to your account. While logged into your Meta account, you should be able to go to auth.meta.com/device to enter the code you see in your headset in order to pair your headset to your account!

Alternatively, you should be able to pair your headset directly in the mobile app. Once you're logged into your Meta account on the mobile app, your headset should either automatically pair, or you can manually pair by entering the code there. You can also find some more helpful troubleshooting and tips for pairing HERE.

Hey there, @jhender60. Thanks for contacting us about the issue you're having with pairing the Meta Quest mobile app with the headset. We know that having any sort of pairing issue can

definitely put your VR plans on hold, and we would like to help you out. For us to get a bit more insight into this, could you please tell us the following?

When trying to pair your headset, what step does it ask you for the code?

Have you already selected the headset? If not, please follow these steps.

On your Meta Quest mobile app, go to Menu > Devices on the mobile app. Select the headset.

If the headset isn't listed, make sure that the mobile device has Bluetooth turned on. If the headset still does not appear, uninstall and then re-install the Meta Quest mobile app.

On the next screen, tap Pair. The headset will either pair automatically or ask for the pairing code that was displayed in the headset.

If your issue persists, please let us know
