I’m 34 weeks and 4 days and started drinking raspberry leaf tea less than a week ago. I drank it today (iced with honey and lemon) about an hour before having an ultrasound appointment and baby was moving SO much, like sooo much more than usual. Like she’s having a dance party in there. I noticed she would move more after drinking it but this was the most yet. Has anyone else noticed it? I don’t see my OB for another 2 weeks, I’m thinking maybe I should stop until I see him again?

I started drinking the red raspberry leaf tea at 34 weeks( one cup a day). I drink mine warm. Maybe because it’s cold that’s what’s making her move more. My dr told me if I ever wanted the baby to move more to drink something really cold or sweet. Maybe try drinking it warm.

@Mom2bexxxx,
maybe I’ll try that, I just hate tea and hate the taste of it and iced helps

I drank it yesterday with no honey or lemon and she started moving a whole lot as well!

@sel1125,
so interesting! I double checked to make sure it’s caffeine free (it is) lol

I noticed my girl moves more after I drink it too. But I also drink it hot where I haven’t been drinking any other hot drinks so maybe it’s a reaction to the heat? Or in your case to the cold?

It's probably more the cold. When I drink really cold water my baby goes crazy

I drink extremely iced water, and drink my tea cold. Baby moves way more after the tea. I think it’s the baby moving in conjunction with the small contractions the tea causes.

@0611121418,
ah that makes sense, I drink a lot of very cold ice water, and eat a lot of ice too which makes her move but nothing like after the tea this day

My girl has a dance party pretty much every time I eat or drink anything! That includes the red raspberry leaf tea, whether hot or cold 💃
