At a time when women's sports, and basketball in particular, are on the rise, I'm thrilled to share a new collection of product that we launched in partnership with the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association).This collection was designed specifically for young girls to showcase their love and fandom of the league and express their passion for the game. Kudos to the entire team that brought this one to life!

Recently, I had the opportunity to speak at the Event Marketer Experiential Marketing Summit on Engaging Gen Alpha, our collaborative partnership with Nike and how we leverage community-driven sports experiences to provide access to sport and empower young athletes to feel confident both on and off the court. We debuted It's Her Shot in 2021, with support from the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association), to empower young female athletes to take their place on the court with confidence, find joy in play and connect with their community. Since its debut, the tour has stopped in nine cities, hosted more than 2,000 athletes and donated over $260K to youth organizations across the country. As the program enters its fourth year bigger and better than ever, I'm excited to share that at the conclusion of this year's tour, It's Her Shot will have hosted an event in all twelve WNBA markets. Building It's Her Shot has been a highlight of my career, and it was a privilege to share a piece of the journey, alongside my counterpart Mindy Helmer, with an audience full of like-minded experiential marketers.#dsglife

2022 was a special year, and the opportunity to help build It’s Her Shot was no exception.We created It’s Her Shot, in partnership with Nike, to establish safe spaces for young girls to come together and play basketball in their own way. Taking over courts in six cities across the country, we gave young athletes the opportunity to play, compete, showcase their skills and connect with fellow ballers, influencers and hoop legends from all over. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the endless support from my amazing team and all of our partners. It took a dedicated village to produce this program, but special THANK YOUs to Eric Marshall, Mark A. Rooks, Mindy Helmer, Vernon Walker Jr., Connor Kreidle, Abby Wietrzykowski and the rest of our Motive: A Project WorldWide Agency team, as well as our partners at the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) & On Board Experiential. 2023, we’re coming for you!
