Big prizes won on scratch-off cards can be claimed up to 180 after the end of the game series.

The largest unclaimed prize of $1 million was drawn during a Powerball game on March 23 in Puyallup, Washington, a small city about 35 miles south of Seattle.
The winning numbers from that drawing were: 6-23-25-34-51 with a Powerball of 3.
