Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi head into her intimate comedy show (2024)

Ellen DeGeneresand her wife of 15 years Portia de Rossi proved their love for another on Tuesday, as they coordinated in navy blue jackets at the iconic Largo at the Coronet in West Hollywood.

The Finding Nemo voice actress, 66, and the Ally McBeal star, 51, made their way across the parking lot of the tiny venue ahead of Ellen's set.

It comes as DeGeneres told a crowd at one of her recent comedy shows how the 'devastating' bullying accusations affected her marriage.

'I'm making jokes about what happened to me, but it was devastating,' she said at her show in April. 'It took a long time for me to want to do anything again.'

Referencing the toxic culture on her show and being cancelled, DeGeneres revealed how it affected her marriage, saying: 'It's hard to dance when you're crying.'

Still, it looks as though the couple have made it through the hard times.

The former host of The Ellen Show wore a navy blue jacket buttoned all the way up with black pants and athletic shoes as she looked lost in thought.

Her stunning wife, meanwhile put on a masterclass in preppy style in a crisp white shirt with a navy and green sweater, navy blazer and perfectly distressed, straight-leg jeans.

The Arrested Development actress wore her blonde hair in a shorter 1960s-style shag haircut and finished off her look with sunglasses and a vintage Gucci handbag.

The gig at The Largo comes after the prolific comedienne announced what she intends to be her last comedy special ever.

'To answer the questions everyone is asking me – Yes, I'm going to talk about it. Yes, this is my last special. Yes, Portia really is that pretty in real life,' DeGeneres said in a statement, per Variety.

The Mr. Wrong star is also kicking off a multi-city stand up tour in San Diego in support of the comedy special for Netflix.

When she said she's going to 'talk about it,' she's likely referring to the controversial end of her long-running talk show after allegations of a toxic workplace.

She hosted the talk show for 19 seasons and it won 63 Daytime Emmys. Before that, she was the star of the ABC sitcom Ellen, in which her character came out as gay shortly after Ellen did in real life in 1997.

The famed television host has also been generously playing mortgage lender to family members desperate to get on the property ladder, DailyMail.com can reveal.

The 66-year-old has become somewhat of an expert in the housing market two years after she ended her long-running daytime talk show and began concentrating on her property empire full-time.

DeGeneres, who Forbes estimates to be worth $380 million, is known as one of Hollywood's best at making millions from flipping houses – and now she's even dishing out home loans to relatives wanting to join the property owners club.

Mortgage documents and deeds obtained by DailyMail.com reveal Ellen and wife de Rossi have lent millions to their respective brothers to buy luxury homes in California.

In an interview with The US Sun last month, real estate expert Stacey Franklin named Ellen among the 'smartest Hollywood home flippers', who has transformed and sold over 50 houses in 20 years.

Her most recent investments include two side-by-side oceanfront lots, for a total of $70million, in Carpinteria in 2022, and a $22.5million Spanish-style property in Montecito, where she is based, last July.

Records show that it's the most expensive ever in the Santa Barbara area and Ellen is in the envious possession that she didn't need a mortgage for the purchase.

She told The RIV Magazine last year: 'I don't really travel a lot. So, house flipping is my version of travel. With house flipping, the scenery changes though I stay in the same general area. Only in a new place and from a new perspective.'
