On Wednesday, we were thrilled to celebrate breaking ground on our Fish Creek Solar Park in Bushnell and Evergreen Townships. We were joined by local officials, participating landowners, and of course, our team members and contractors who have been working diligently on this project since its conception. Once operational, Fish Creek Solar will have nearly 320,000 solar panels generating enough clean energy to power approximately 30,000 homes on an ongoing basis.

“A proud moment from my military career recalls Hurricane Hugo relief efforts while serving aboard U.S.S. Stephen W. Groves. As the leading communications electronics technician, my team spent days troubleshooting the island’s only public radio station and repurposing old police radios to repair the station’s damaged transmitter, which resulted in vital safety information being broadcast to island residents. Today, as a DTE team member, I’m proud to have designed, built and installed several handicapped ramps for disabled Michigan veterans through our VETS employee resource group.”- Matt G., manager, DTE Gas Operations and U.S. Navy veteran #MIlitaryAppreciationMonth Learn more about the U.S.S. When the Road to Restoration partnership launched three years ago, we all hoped to address a barrier that impacts at least 5% of Michiganders. Fast forward to our 40th license restoration clinic held last week in Battle Creek, which offered volunteer attorneys and Michigan Department of State teams to guide attendees in restoring their driving privileges and regaining their independence. Hear from one clinic participant who was able to leave with their driving license in hand after being without it for twenty-five years. Michigan Department of State http://spr.ly/6040dY2is
