The release date of Chains of Heart episode 6 has been announced. The Thai BL (Boy’s Love) series, Chains of Heart debuted on-screen on February 18, 2023. Even before the release of its first episode, the series attracted a huge number of audiences through its interesting and suspenseful storyline.

Since its premiere, Chains of Heart has received much appreciation for its gripping narrative and incredible chemistry between the main lead characters as well as the other couples in the series.

With the release of its fifth episode on March 18, 2023, the story has already revealed a lot of information with a lot of drama. For those who missed the previous episode, without any delays, let us dive into the detailed recap of the previous episode of the series before the release of the upcoming one.

Chains of Heart Episode 5 Recap

Chains of Heart episode 5 opens with Hin, Boon, and Payu reach at the temple in the middle of the forest, where they see Lue shaking hands with Ingpha (the chief). The three doubt that Lue is working for Ingpha. When Payu rushes towards them, Ken sees him and engages in a conversation.

When Lue approaches Ken, Payu, Boon, and Hin take Ken with them to the car. Later, standing by the road, Payu asks Ken about Lue’s identity. He also informs him about Lue shaking hands with Ingpha, which surprises Ken.

Payu, Boon, and Hin further doubt Lue being an accomplice of Fin. Payu asks Ken to stop seeing Lue anymore, and he will do a background check on him. He gives Ken a phone for his safety and asks him not to inform about all this to anyone.

Later, at night, after reaching home, Payu, Hin, Ken, Sai, and Din’s parents sit together for dinner. Din’s father unintentionally mentions Din while eating, which makes everyone sad. However, Din’s father diverts the topic, and everyone starts eating.

While having the meal, Din’s father says that Din must have reincarnated and have become old enough to run around. Sai says that Din has moved on with his life, therefore, they all should too. Then, Sai asks Ken about Lue and teases him about dating Lue. But Ken denies it.

Later, Ken leaves the place and goes to Din’s room, and starts crying, seeing his photo. At that moment, Din’s mother arrives there, and seeing Ken cry, she consoles him and tells him to move on in his life, as he has a long life left ahead of him.

Din’s mother asks Ken to open up to the right person and lead a happy life. She, then, shows him a leaf, which she found in Din’s bedroom on the day of Din’s funeral. She tells him that it is strange as she does not know how it got there. This even surprises Ken.

On the other side, Sai, Payu, and Hin talk about Ken’s life in danger. Sai suggests hiding Ken somewhere but does not know where. Hin says that he does not believe that Ingpha is behind Ken’s life as he has been nice to his family.

Payu explains to Hin that Hin is wrong in judging Ingpha. He says that Ingpha is the mayor of the Gray Area and has illegal businesses, which also include opium. Apart from this, Ingpha sent Lue, who has been collecting poppy leaves, to pick up Ken. Therefore, nothing makes sense to them.

Later, Ken arrives at the hotel where Lue has been staying. When he asks for Lue’s room number at the reception, he learns that there is no one named Lue at the hotel. This comes as a shock to him.

After returning home, agitated Ken, while looking at the leaf, which Din’s mother gave him, thinks about his past with Din. In the flashback, while standing on a bridge, Din gives the same leaf, named Wall of Iris, to Ken. Din explains that the leaf symbolizes his unwavering and undying love.

Din further tells Ken that if they ever separate for whatever reason it may be, they will meet again on the same bridge on the seventh day of the seventh month, that is, the 7th of July. When Ken does not understand Din’s words, Din asks Ken to make a promise on this condition, but Ken denies it.

Back to the present. In the middle of the night, Ken, feeling disturbed, goes out of his room and stands by a lake. At that moment, he gets attacked by someone. The masked person, while fighting, tells Ken to go back within three days. After giving him a warning, the man leaves, leaving Ken in pain.

After a while, Lue arrives, where Ken is seen to be sleeping by the lake. Lue gets worried seeing Ken’s condition. When Ken sees Lue, he attacks him and asks him about his identity and whether he is working for Ingpha.

Lue, then, reveals that he likes Ken, which is why he wants Ken to be safe. It has nothing to do with Ingpha. He further confesses that he has been in love with Ken since the day he first saw him. Therefore, he really wants to help Ken. Ken gets startled hearing Lue’s confession.

The next morning, Ken is seen spacing out, sitting by the lake. He is soon joined by Boon. Boon asks him to stay away from Lue as he has heard a lot of bad things about Lue.

On the other side, Lue is seen preparing to take a bath. When he opens his robe, a lot of cuts and scratches are seen on his back, along with a Chinese tattoo that reads, “Ceng Dalu.”

While taking a bath, Lue gets reminded of the conversation he had with Ingpha. In the flashback, Ingpha asks Lue about his timbre mill, while shaking hands with him. At that moment, Lue presses Ingpha’s hand very hard, which makes Ingpha nervous. After some time, Lue leaves his hand. Ingpha further asks Lue to contact him if he ever needs some rare wood from his area.

Back to the present. Ken and Boon meet Sai and her boyfriend, Dr. Chayon, at a restaurant, where the four have some casual conversations. Later, Ken, Lue, Sai, Dr. Chayon, and Boon are seen driving to a temple. In the car, Sai and Dr. Chayon tease and ask Lue and Ken about their first meeting and how they became close.

Later, at the temple, the four offer prayer and also go to pray near Din’s shrine. While they are seen leaving the temple, a masked man looks at them from afar. The man keeps following their car till they reach a restaurant.

At the restaurant, while Sai, Ken, and D. Chayon order food, Lue seems to be tense. Next, when Ken comes out of the restaurant alone, he is attacked by the masked man. But Ken fights him heads on. At that moment, Lue comes to Ken’s rescue but however, collapses after the fight.

Ken keeps fighting the man when the masked man from the other night comes to Ken’s rescue. After fighting with the man, the masked man is attacked by Ken. While Ken gets close to the masked man to attack him, he notices Din’s pendant around his neck, which surprises him.

The episode ends with Ken blurting out Din’s name and the masked man kicking Ken away and escaping.

Chains of Heart Episode 6 Preview

The upcoming episode will show Ingpha being the one who sent a guy to capture Ken at Lue’s request. A new character, officer Don, will be introduced to Lue, by Ae. On the other side, Ken will tell Lue that he does not believe that Din is dead.
